Favorite Song: I'd be shocked if anyone didn't pick "Cocaine Blues." So disco-y with a very local feel.
Memorable Moment: It's always impressive to see that many people on a stage + to have a whole strings + horns accompaniment. The music really was quite spot on.
Biggest Letdown: I think with that many people on stage I expected the show to have a little bit more of a "wow" factor. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time + the music was incredible, I guess it just seemed a little like too much of the same thing for me.
This Show: reenforced my love for disco. I mean, how can you not have fun listening to disco? What we had on stage was a whole disco orchestra, which is pretty amazing. Escort was really fun, I just wish the Metro was filled up a bit more. Too many Chicagoans missed out on a great Friday night option.
