Gorillaz was the latest to announce their split. Disappointing news considering I've never seen them live before, but they've always been on my "must see" list. This makes me really regret skipping the October show at UIC. I knew this decision would come back to haunt me & it certainly will.
Of the three acts to call it quits, I personally feel like Gorillaz has the most to offer still. I'm sympathetic with how James Murphy must feel & the White Stripes deal certainly has to be very personal -- Gorillaz in my opinion should suck it up. They have a great legacy & I think it should keep going.
