When I took my little blogging hiatus there was always one thing that made me want to go running back to my blog...
Pretty books! They kill me every time.
In this instance, it was
Kate Spade's (in collaboration with
Strand bookstores) collection of 7 short stories from female writers. The one condition of this series is that each writer has to somehow incorporate the phrase "She is quick & curious & playful & strong" into their story. What a cute idea & those covers are to die for! I think I can probably shell out $35 &
buy this series.
