"Oh Comely" - Neutral Milk Hotel
First off, Miami Music Week was amazing. I've experienced some of the best live music of my life & my ears are still ringing a week later. Words really can't describe the weekend, but I promise I'll try to explain one day.
For now, I'm taking a slight break from electronica & concentrating more on my roots. I think it's safe to say that I absolutely love music. One thing I really pride myself on is my love for many genres. I put a lot of focus on electronica & dance music on this blog, but I've been through my indie phase, my 80's phase, my classic rock phase, my blues phase, etc. You name it & I've probably dabbled in it a little bit. I got into electronica because I was looking for a change & I wanted to experience something different. It was one of the best things that has happened to me. I love this genre & there is so much more I want to learn. Despite this love affair, I still take breaks & delve into my old forgotten favorites from time to time.
I feel really well rested & reenergized & I'm blaming the emergence of Spring for these feelings. As a result, I think this is a good week to mellow out a little bit & show your another side to my music obsession.
