As a left-handed writer & victim of the inevitable the smear, I find myself incredibly jealous & awe-inspired by these gorgeous chalk works by Dana Tanamanchi. (What a surprise -- she's right-handed!)
I remember being in elementary school & being very anal about my neat handwriting. I always dreaded having to go to the chalkboard to write, because whatever I wrote down would always get smeared by my left forearm in one way or another. It totally killed my handwriting 101 protocols & left my frustrated & embarrassed.
I have & never will be good at writing in chalk, but I'm comfortable with leaving that to the Dana Tanamanchi's of the world.
